Soy Sauce and Ginger Roasted Salmon

I love salmon. I just can’t get enough of it whether it is in stir fries or in salads. I like making it with different combinations of spices and sauces to keep it interesting and tasty. This week I baked it with soy sauce, ginger and garlic and I’ll have it on salad for my lunch over the next few days. You could also serve it with rice or over noodles for an evening meal.


2 salmon filets
2 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tbsp of sesame oil
1 tsbp of lime juice
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp chilli flakes
1/2 tsp sesame seeds

Place the salmon filets in an oven proof dish. Drizzle over the oil, soy sauce and all the other ingredients. Place in a preheated oven at 350F for 20 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through. Flake off the meat and serve either on a bed of lettuce or mix up in a stir fry!
