Baked Garlic and Brown Sugar Chicken

This tasted great and I served it up with roasted courgette, yellow squash, sweet peppers and potatoes.

I found a recipe for it on Pinterest and then tweaked it based on the comments in the feedback section.


2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
4 garlic cloves, minced
4 tablespoons brown sugar
3 teaspoons olive oil
1 tsp Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp chili flakes
salt and pepper, to taste


Preheat oven to 450°F. Line a casserole dish or pan with foil (it will help with the clean up!).

In small pan, sauté garlic with the oil, soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce until tender. Remove from heat and stir in brown sugar. Heat until the mixture is smooth.

Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish and cover with the garlic and brown sugar mixture. Sprinkle the chili flakes over the chicken and bake uncovered for 20-30 minutes.

Serve with roasted vegetables and enjoy!
